Iconic British pop band Wet Wet Wet are set to mark a monumental milestone in 2027, announcing an extensive 40-date UK tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their debut album, Popped In Souled Out. Released in 1987, the multi-platinum record catapulted the band to global stardom, reaching No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and spawning timeless hits such as "Wishing I Was Lucky," "Sweet Little Mystery," and "Angel Eyes." Now, four decades later, the band will honor the legacy of the album that started it all with two major touring runs in February and October 2027.
A Celebration of Heritage and Hits
The tour promises a nostalgic journey through the band’s storied career. Fans can expect full performances of the Popped In Souled Out tracklist alongside legendary chart-toppers like "Goodnight Girl" and the record-breaking "Love Is All Around."
Founding member Graeme Clark reflected on the anniversary: "When we made Popped In Souled Out, I was just a young guy. Forty years later, those songs have taken on a life of their own. It’ll feel like stepping back into those original shoes, but now with a lifetime of experience."
The current lineup—Graeme Clark, long-standing guitarist Graeme Duffin, and lead vocalist Kevin Simm—continues to draw huge crowds, bridging the gap between original fans and a new generation of listeners.
Special Guests and Star Power
Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, the tour will feature an incredible rotation of special guests on select dates, including:
Heather Small and Roachford
Nick Heyward and Johnny Hates Jazz
Rebecca Ferguson, The Christians, and The South
Before the 2027 anniversary blitz, the band will remain busy with their first European headline tour in 25 years in May 2026, followed by a series of intimate UK acoustic shows.
Tickets for the ‘Popped In Souled Out’ 40th Anniversary Tour go on sale Friday, April 17th, at 10am below.
