The wait is finally over for fans of New York City’s most iconic rock exports. The Strokes have officially unveiled a massive global tour spanning North America, the U.K., Europe, and Japan, set to kick off this June. The announcement arrives alongside news of their seventh studio album, Reality Awaits, which is scheduled for release on June 26 via Cult Records/RCA Records.

A Highly Anticipated Return

Recorded in Costa Rica with legendary producer Rick Rubin, Reality Awaits marks the band’s first new material since 2020’s Grammy-winning The New Abnormal. Fans caught a first glimpse of the new era last week with the release of the lead single, "Going Shopping." The album features striking cover art by Richard Prince, continuing the band's tradition of blending high art with their signature garage-rock aesthetic.

Global Tour Dates and Special Guests

Fresh off a buzzy appearance at Coachella, the band’s summer and fall itinerary is packed with headline festival slots and arena dates. Highlights include a prestigious two-night stand at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, a homecoming-style run through North America with support from Thundercat and Hamilton Leithauser, and a comprehensive European leg featuring stops at London’s The O2 and Paris’ Accor Arena.

The tour also boasts an eclectic rotating cast of openers, including Cage the Elephant, Fat White Family, Alex Cameron, and ÖLÜM, ensuring each stop offers a unique live experience.

Ticket Information

Demand is expected to be unprecedented following the band’s extensive hiatus from headline touring.
