Multi-Platinum singer-songwriter Sam Barber has officially set a date for his highly anticipated second full-length album. Titled Broken View, the project is scheduled to arrive across all platforms on April 3, 2026, via Atlantic Outpost.
The announcement follows a weekend of feverish speculation. After the Friday release of the lead single "Borrowed Time," Barber surprised his rabidly loyal fanbase by unofficially confirming the release date in a social media comment before today’s formal unveiling.
On Broken View, Barber leans into a fearless exploration of the human experience, tackling themes of love, heartbreak, self-doubt, and the complexities of growing older. Musically, the album serves as a sonic journey through the American Heartland, seamlessly blending gritty country textures with cathartic rock sequences and soulful folk musings.
To capture the raw energy of the record, Barber returned to the seclusion of Montana to co-produce the bulk of the tracks with his long-time creative confidant, Joe Becker. The album also features a high-profile collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Aaron Dessner (Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan), recorded at the famed Long Pond studio in New York’s Hudson Valley.
"The American Route" Tour
The new era follows the massive success of Barber’s 2024 RIAA-Gold certified debut, Restless Mind. To celebrate the launch, Barber is currently traversing North America on his epic headline tour, "The American Route," which runs through June, buy tickets below.
Fans can also look forward to his return to the California desert this spring for a marquee performance at the Stagecoach Music Festival.
