Grammy-winning rockers Alabama Shakes have announced that the critically acclaimed Dove Ellis will join them for their major summer performance at Leeds Millennium Square on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

The announcement follows the band's triumphant return to the spotlight with "Another Life," their first new music in over a decade. Recorded at Nashville’s iconic Sound Emporium Studios and produced alongside longtime collaborator Shawn Everett, the new material signals a bold revival for the group. After a high-energy North American run, the Leeds date marks the beginning of a highly anticipated European summer residency.

Supporting them in Leeds is one of the year’s breakout stars, Dove Ellis. Following the release of his debut album Blizzard via Black Butter / AMF Records, Ellis has been hailed as one of the most refreshing new voices in the industry. His inclusion on the bill adds significant weight to what is already one of the most talked-about outdoor shows of the season.

The band’s UK trip also includes a date at The Mount At Wasing on July 2 and a headline show at London’s Alexandra Palace on July 3, where they will be supported by Tyler Ballgame. From there, the group heads to the continent for major festival appearances including Gent Jazz in Belgium, Lucca Summer Festival in Italy, and NOS Alive in Lisbon.

With the band currently back in the studio working on further material for late 2026, these July dates offer a first look at the next chapter of the Alabama Shakes story. Tickets for the Leeds Millennium Square show and all other UK dates are on general sale now below.
