Alex Warren is currently on track to secure his second UK Number 1 single with his latest track, "Fever Dream." According to the Official Chart: First Look, which provides an early glimpse into the Top 20 ahead of Friday’s final tally, the Californian singer-songwriter is leading the pack following a massive weekend of music.
"Fever Dream" marks Warren's first new material since the release of his chart-topping debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid. If it maintains its momentum, it will follow the unprecedented success of his breakout smash "Ordinary," which dominated the charts for 13 weeks in 2025. Boosted by a high-profile performance at Saturday's BRIT Awards in Manchester, "Ordinary" has also seen a resurgence, climbing four places to Number 15 in the midweek update.
However, the race for the top spot remains tight. Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s duet "Rein Me In" currently sits at Number 2. Despite a slight drop, the track remains a serious contender to reclaim the summit after being crowned Song of the Year at the BRITs. As the week progresses, analysts expect a "BRITs bump" to further impact the charts as streaming data from the ceremony’s performers continues to filter in.
Elsewhere in the Top 10, Bella Kay’s viral hit "iloveitiloveitiloveit" continues its steady ascent, rising to a new peak of Number 3. Other notable movers include RAYE, whose physical 7-inch release of "Nightingale Lane" has her tracking toward a Number 12 debut, and K-pop stars Blackpink, who appear at Number 26 with "Go"—a collaboration featuring Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
