Northern Irish indie stalwarts Two Door Cinema Club have announced their most ambitious live date to date, a headline performance at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday, September 27, 2026. This milestone show represents a significant moment for the UK export, marking their first-ever appearance at the world-renowned arena.
The concert is designed as a massive celebration of their breakout debut album, Tourist History. Fans can expect a rare, full-album performance of the 2010 record, which produced era-defining UK indie hits such as "What You Know," "Something Good Can Work," and "Undercover Martyn." Beyond the anniversary set, the band will also perform a selection of their greatest hits from across their fifteen-year career.
The September 27 date serves as a homecoming of sorts for the band’s relationship with the city, which began with intimate club shows and sold-out nights at Webster Hall over a decade ago. The band noted that playing "The Garden" has been a career-long "bucket list" goal since their early touring days in the United States.
To bolster the event, the lineup includes a stacked bill of special guests. Joining the Northern Irish trio are Phantogram, STRFKR, and the UK’s own dance-punk favorites, Friendly Fires. This combination of artists ensures the night will be one of the most significant indie music gatherings of the 2026 calendar.
For those planning to travel or secure tickets from abroad, the registration for presale access is now open. The fan presale is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, February 24th, at 10:00 a.m. ET (3:00 p.m. GMT). This will be followed by the general public on-sale starting Friday, February 27th, at 10:00 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster.
With the band’s reputation for high-energy live shows and the nostalgia surrounding Tourist History, tickets are expected to move rapidly. This announcement follows a string of successful global festival headlines, cementing their status as one of the UK's most enduring musical exports.
