The current tour serves as a live celebration of his critically acclaimed debut album, Sunflowers and Leather. After headlining the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix and Belly Up in Solana Beach, Kagen will move into one of the most anticipated segments of the tour: two consecutive nights at the iconic Troubadour in West Hollywood on March 9 and 10.
The tour then moves through the Pacific Northwest with stops at the Aladdin Theater in Portland and The Crocodile in Seattle, before heading inland to venues like the Knitting Factory in Spokane and the Fox Theatre in Boulder. The spring run will eventually wind down through the South, including a highly anticipated final stop at Antone’s Night Club in Austin on March 28.
These live dates offer fans the first opportunity to hear "Talkin’ About Jesus" in person. The epic folk-rock track was written after a year spent living and recording in a mobile Airstream studio, reflecting the same grit and beauty found in his live stagecraft.
