Essex is set to host the UK’s most ambitious new music and barbecue crossover event this summer. State Fayre, a brand-new major camping festival, has unveiled a massive second wave of artists joining the lineup at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, from 26–28 June 2026.

A Heavyweight Lineup

The latest announcement adds serious star power to an already stacked bill. Joining previously announced headliners Kings of Leon, Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts, and The Lumineers are:

Stephen Wilson Jr.: Fresh off his sold-out søn of dad tour.

Jack Savoretti: Performing hits from his forthcoming ninth studio album.

Orville Peck: The masked trailblazer of modern country.

Razorlight & The Magic Numbers: Bringing classic British indie-rock and Mercury Prize-nominated harmonies.

Molly Tuttle: The Grammy-winning bluegrass virtuoso.

The festival also welcomes a diverse array of rising talent, including Elles Bailey, Kezia Gill, Nate Bergman, and Leah Blevins, cementing State Fayre as a premier destination for fans of rock, country, and Americana.

More Than Just Music

Inspired by the atmosphere of American state fairs, the event promises an immersive cultural experience less than 30 minutes from London. A major draw is The FUME Pit, hosted by the UK’s premier barbecue festival, FUME. Co-founded by social media sensation EatingWithTod, the area will feature award-winning pitmasters, the UK’s largest barbecue cages, and live demonstrations.

Beyond the grill, attendees can enjoy whiskey and craft beer bars, boutique camping, and traditional festival rides. Organizers Anna-Sophie Mertens and Alex Simmonds of Live Nation noted, "The response has been delightful... this announcement reflects the energy and ambition behind State Fayre."
