Fresh off the release of their long-awaited debut album, Toothpaste, independent Portsmouth outfit Crystal Tides are preparing to bring their high-octane live show to venues across the country. To celebrate the album's arrival today, February 6, 2026, the band has announced their most ambitious UK headline tour to date, scheduled to kick off this March.

From Portsmouth to the Main Stage

For Crystal Tides, this tour is the culmination of years of relentless "on the road" experience. Having built a reputation for high-energy performances and infectious indie-rock hooks, the band is moving into larger rooms to match the scale of their new material.

The upcoming run will see the group headlining major hubs, with the itinerary highlighted by two massive weekend dates:

27 March: Manchester – Gorilla
28 March: London – Electric Ballroom

These shows represent a significant step up for the quartet, who have spent the last few years carving out a space in the UK indie scene through pure perseverance and a "no-compromise" independent spirit.

Bringing ‘Toothpaste’ to Life

Fans can expect the March setlists to be heavily weighted toward the new album. Toothpaste is a deeply personal record, featuring tracks born from voice notes in 2022 that have since evolved into arena-ready anthems.

While the album contains "huge indie rock hooks," it also deals with raw, lived experiences. The title track, which documents frontman Billy Gregory’s battle with Ulcerative Colitis and his subsequent recovery from major surgery, is expected to be a powerful emotional centerpiece of the live performance.

A Statement of Independence

Without the backing of a major label, Crystal Tides have relied on a dedicated fanbase and a reputation for being one of the hardest-working live acts in the country. This tour is a victory lap for the band and their self-funded debut. "To say we are proud of what we have created is an understatement," they shared. "It’s just a team of hardworking individuals who refuse to give up on their dreams."
