Forget the January blues—summer’s biggest retro party is officially on the horizon. Rewind South, the original and best 80s and 90s festival, has announced its triumphant return to the picturesque Temple Island Meadows in Henley-on-Thames from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd August 2026.
Headliners That Will Have You "On Your Way"
This year’s lineup is a powerhouse of nostalgia. Synth-pop legends The Human League will headline the main stage on Saturday, 22nd August. On Sunday, 23rd August, making their highly anticipated Rewind debut, The Proclaimers will close out the weekend. Whether you're ready to march 500 miles or just dance to "Don't You Want Me," these headliners guarantee a massive singalong.
A Star-Studded Weekend
The festival features a mix of beloved Rewind favorites and exciting first-timers:
Rewind Royalty: Kim Wilde, Tony Hadley, Roland Gift (Fine Young Cannibals), Soul II Soul, Nik Kershaw, and Toyah.
Festival Firsts: Pop icon Louise, Noughties favorites Toploader and Dodgy, the legendary Dave Hill’s Slade, and Peter Andre.
Cult Classics: The Undertones, The Beat (featuring Ranking Jnr.), and The Trevor Horn Band.
The weekend will be held together by "hosts with the most," Jenny Powell and The Doctor.
More Than Just Music
Beyond the main stage, the festival grounds will be packed with the signature eccentricities that make Rewind unique. Fans can visit the Inflatable Church for a "Rewind Wedding," hit the Silent Disco, or enjoy the Pink Flamingo and River Stage for smaller, intimate performances. Families are well-catered for with a dedicated kid-zone, while those looking for comfort can choose from a range of camping and glamping options.
The weekend concludes on Sunday night with a spectacular fireworks display, ensuring everyone leaves "dancing in the moonlight."
