Rising star Caitlin is set to cement her status as a frontrunner in Britain’s soul revival with the release of her debut album, Why’s Everybody So Serious?, arriving 20 March 2026. The announcement comes alongside her new single, "Crocodile Tears," a gritty, country-inflected soul track that the New Forest-born artist describes as her "ultimate encore song."

A prodigious talent who previously won "Young Artist of the Year" at the Boisdale Music Awards—presented by Jools Holland—Caitlin has transitioned from a classically trained jazz vocalist to a formidable solo force. Her debut record, produced by Joshua Woolf, features collaborations with renowned composer William Lovelady and includes the hit "Pray For Me," which has already garnered significant acclaim from The Independent and The Line of Best Fit.

UK Headline Tour Dates

Fans won't have to wait long to experience the new material live. Caitlin returns to the road next month for an extensive UK Headline Tour, kicking off at the intimate Pizza Express Live in Holborn on 26 February.

The tour will see the multi-instrumentalist—who plays flute, guitar, and piano—bringing her sophisticated 360-degree sound to key venues across the country. Following her London launch, she will head North to iconic stages like Manchester's Band on the Wall and Newcastle's The Cluny.
