Manchester’s post-punk powerhouses IST IST are kicking off 2026 with a relentless schedule, pairing the release of their fifth studio album, DAGGER, with an extensive run of live dates across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
As the band unveils their final pre-release single, “Obligations,” the focus shifts firmly to the stage. Known for their fierce DIY ethic and enlivening live performances, the band is set to prove why they remain one of the UK’s most vital independent acts.
Launch Week: Intimate Album Shows
To celebrate the release of DAGGER on 6 February via Kind Violence Records, IST IST will perform a series of intimate in-store and out-store shows. These dates offer fans a first listen to the new material in a close-quarters setting:

Spring 2026: UK, Ireland & European Tour
Following their album launch, the band heads to mainland Europe in March, visiting cities including Amsterdam, Berlin, and Milan, before returning for a comprehensive UK headline tour in April.
The upcoming domestic run features newly added dates in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and London, ensuring fans across the country have the chance to witness the evolution of the band’s sound. The tour will culminate in their most ambitious hometown show to date at Manchester’s Albert Hall on 1 May, featuring support from Desperate Journalist and The Youth Play.
