Legendary metal titans Megadeth are teaming up with Trafalgar Releasing for a monumental global cinematic event, MEGADETH: BEHIND THE MASK, set to debut on Thursday, January 22, 2026. This one-night-only film will screen in over 1,000 cinemas across more than 35 countries, chronicling the band’s 40-year career on the eve of their final studio album release.

BEHIND THE MASK features frontman, vocalist, guitarist, and producer Dave Mustaine pulling back the curtain on four decades of Megadeth history, sharing previously untold stories and the creative forces that continue to drive them.
Crucially, the event will serve as a global first listen to the band's new self-titled final studio album, which officially drops the following day, January 23. The entire album will be premiered within the film, accompanied by a 40-year retrospective interview with Mustaine and his exclusive track-by-track reflections on the landmark final project.
