The Hampton Court Palace Festival has announced that the legendary Nile Rodgers & Chic will headline its 2026 edition, joining an already dazzling roster of artists for the summer showcase running from June 9th to 20th.

Nile Rodgers & Chic are confirmed to bring their non-stop, universally celebrated dance party to the historic East Front Gardens on Wednesday, June 17th. Following a sensational, sold-out performance in 2024, their return is highly anticipated by festival-goers eager to experience the hit-making legacy of Rodgers himself.

As a multiple award-winning songwriter, composer, producer, and guitarist, Nile Rodgers is responsible for hits like ‘Le Freak’ and ‘Good Times,’ and has collaborated with musical icons worldwide, contributing to over 750 million album sales globally. His influence on disco, funk, and modern pop is truly unmatched.

Rodgers and Chic join an incredible and diverse lineup set to perform against the magnificent backdrop of Henry VIII's Tudor palace. Already announced for the 2026 programme are BRIT-nominated singer-songwriter David Gray, beloved synth-pop pioneers OMD, the electrifying dance sounds of Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics, and the sophisticated pop of Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Now in its 31st year, the Hampton Court Palace Festival remains a highlight of the summer calendar, uniquely blending world-class music with an atmospheric, intimate setting. Produced in partnership with Historic Royal Palaces, the festival offers audiences the rare chance to enjoy the palace’s stunning grounds after-hours, culminating in the nightly concerts held within the historic Base Court. With capacity capped at a mere 3,000, the experience is truly one-of-a-kind.

Tickets will be available via pre-sale starting Thursday, December 4th, with general sale opening on Friday, December 5th. Further exciting artist announcements for the 2026 festival are expected soon.
