London's rising rock sensation, The Molotovs, are closing out their breakout year with a special Christmas Party gig at Bush Hall in West London on Thursday, December 11th. Dubbed "The Future of British Rock," the dynamic sibling duo—17-year-old Mathew and 19-year-old Issey Cartlidge—are using the celebratory show to give back to the venues that fostered their explosive career, with all funds raised going directly to the Music Venue Trust.
The choice of Bush Hall is deeply personal for the band, who were closely involved in the 2024 "Save Bush Hall" campaign. The venue has become a home for their "Youth Explosion" all-ages gigs, and was even the site where they were famously joined onstage by Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook for a searing rendition of 'God Save The Queen'.
"We can’t wait to get back on that stage at the amazing Bush Hall," said Matt. "2025 has been a big year for us, and live music generally, and we want to get behind the venues that enable us to have these special nights."
Despite their youth, The Molotovs have already built a formidable reputation, having played over 600 gigs since forming in 2020. This extensive touring has seen them share stages with rock legends like The Libertines, Blondie, Iggy Pop, and The Damned, and earn shout-outs from titans such as Green Day and Paul Weller.
The December 11th show will feature special guests and marks a final celebration before the release of their highly anticipated debut album, Wasted On Youth, on January 30th via Marshall Records. The album follows three successful top-10 singles: ‘More More More’, ‘Today’s Gonna Be Our Day’, and ‘Rhythm Of Yourself’.
Fans can secure entry to the Bush Hall show by purchasing a ticket, or by pre-ordering the Wasted On Youth album bundle from Sister Ray in Soho, London.
"We’re looking forward to getting lots of friends and familiar faces down to Bush Hall to see out the year," added Issey. "Come down and join us for a massive night in west London." The Molotovs will follow the release of their debut with a nationwide Wasted On Youth tour of grassroots venues in January.
