Self Esteem, one of the UK’s most celebrated contemporary pop artists, is set to headline the distinctive 'On The Mount at Wasing' concert series on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The show will take place within the spectacular natural amphitheatre of The Mount, nestled in the picturesque Wasing Estate near Reading, Berkshire.
The 'On The Mount at Wasing' series is known for its unique, transportive setting, offering audiences a landmark performance experience immersed in nature. Self Esteem, the alter ego of Rebecca Lucy Taylor, joins a stellar line-up that already includes MIKA (Friday, June 26) and the Pixies (Saturday, June 27).
Taylor enters 2026 as a bona fide force in music, literature, and acting, building on the massive success of her previous years. 2025 saw the release of both her hugely acclaimed third album and debut book, A Complicated Woman. The album, featuring some of Taylor’s strongest songwriting to date and powered by a jubilant choir of female voices, earned her the Visionary Award at the Ivor Novello Awards. The lead single, 'Focus Is Power,' was chosen by the BBC to soundtrack the Lionesses’ UEFA European Football Championships win, fulfilling Taylor's ambition for her music to reach stadium heights.
This latest success follows the breakthrough of her 2021 Mercury Prize-nominated album, Prioritise Pleasure, which established her as a fearless, truth-telling voice on modern womanhood with hit singles like 'I Do This All The Time.'
The newly announced date for Self Esteem is highly anticipated. Tickets for the show will go on general sale on Friday, December 5th, at 10:00 am, following an O2 Presale on Wednesday, December 3rd, and a Ticketmaster Presale on Thursday, December 4th.
