Music icon Eric Clapton is set to play a momentous and exclusive UK show at the majestic Royal Sandringham Estate in Norfolk on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026. This highly anticipated event is the first show to be announced for the HeritageLive Festivals series, which will run at the Estate from August 20th–23rd.

Clapton is universally recognized as one of the most influential musicians of all time. His career trajectory spans over six decades, beginning in the 1960s with formative bands like The Yardbirds, Cream, and Derek and the Dominos. His distinctive mastery of the guitar and his enduring solo career, marked by timeless hits such as "Layla," "Wonderful Tonight," and "Tears in Heaven," have earned him 18 GRAMMY Awards and the unique distinction of being the only musician inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times.

Giles Cooper of HeritageLive Festivals expressed excitement about the booking, stating, “Eric Clapton is one of the greatest musicians of all time and it’s a dream come true for all of us at HeritageLive Festivals to have him play at The Sandringham Estate... It’s going to be such a special and unique event - one of those gigs where you say in years to come ‘I was there!’.”

With over 100 million records sold worldwide and a tireless touring schedule that has seen him play sold-out shows globally, including countless performances at the Royal Albert Hall, Clapton continues to attract massive audiences. He will be joined by very special guests, who are yet to be announced.
