Europe’s largest outdoor jazz festival, Love Supreme Jazz Festival, has announced the first wave of artists for its 2026 edition, returning to Glynde Place in East Sussex from Friday, July 3rd, to Sunday, July 5th. This year marks a significant expansion, featuring three full days of main stage programming.
Mercury Prize and Brit Award-winning ensemble Ezra Collective is confirmed to headline the opening day, Friday, July 3rd. Having first played the festival as an emerging act in 2016, their return as main stage headliners represents a significant milestone. The group will also curate the entire Friday line-up under the banner "Temple Of Joy," inviting a handpicked selection of artists who reflect their diverse musical influences.
Ezra Collective stated: “Coming back as main stage headliners feels like a full circle moment for us and we’re honoured to have been asked to bring some of our favourite bands and artists along to perform alongside us that day. We’re going to curate what we’re calling our Temple Of Joy and can’t wait to celebrate.”
Saturday's headline slot will be taken by multi-award-winning British rapper Loyle Carner. Known for his introspective, jazz-infused hip-hop, Carner’s performance follows a landmark year that included a Glastonbury Other Stage headline slot and four sold-out nights at Brixton Academy. Carner noted that Love Supreme is "a rare one, that celebrates all the music I hold close."
The first wave of artists also includes legendary Motown vocal groups The Temptations & The Four Tops (performing a joint show), five-time Grammy-winning vocalist Samara Joy, visionary US bassist Esperanza Spalding, and UK-based soul powerhouse Jalen Ngonda.
Confirmed acts for the Ezra Collective-curated Temple Of Joy include London Afrobeat collective Kokoroko, double MOBO Award-winning drummer Moses Boyd, and influential UK DJ Luke Una. Additional names include The War and Treaty, D.K. Harrell, Carrtoons, and Annie & The Caldwells.
Early Bird tickets for the festival are on sale now.
