After a busy Summer and Autumn dominating the European festival circuit, punk and rock veterans The Godfathers are set to launch 2026 with a brand new double A-side single and a trio of highly anticipated UK shows.
The band spent the latter half of 2025 playing festivals across Croatia, Portugal, Germany, Austria, and Greece, sharing stages with rock heavyweights including The Sex Pistols, The Damned, The Sisters of Mercy, and The Stranglers.
In between their extensive touring, The Godfathers carved out time to record their first new material since their critically praised 2022 album, Alpha Beta Gamma Delta. The upcoming double A-side single is slated for release on February 6th. Adding a compelling layer to the new tracks is the guest contribution of Josh Hager of Devo on synthesiser and guitar.
Godfathers founder and frontman Peter Coyne described the forthcoming release as “exciting, finger on the pulse rock and roll social commentary—another sonic leap forward for the group.” Fans can expect the single to deliver the sharp edge and sonic innovation the band is known for.
The band will follow the single's release with a run of UK dates, highlighted by their annual, iconic Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre concert in London.

Wednesday, February 11: EDINBURGH - Voodoo Rooms (w/The Primevals)
Thursday, February 12: LEEDS - Brudenell Social Club
Friday, February 13: LONDON - 100 Club (w/The Witchdoktors)
