Richard Ashcroft has been announced as the first headliner for the Heritage Live Festivals at the stunning Englefield Estate in Reading, Berkshire, on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Ashcroft, fresh off his incredible summer tour as a guest of Oasis, will be joined by a formidable lineup of special guests, including Britpop favourites Shed Seven, former Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan, and rising Liverpool band The Kairos.

The performance follows a momentous period for Ashcroft, a two-time Ivor Novello winner renowned for his work with The Verve—whose Urban Hymns remains one of the UK’s biggest-selling albums of all time. With anthems like "Bittersweet Symphony" and "The Drugs Don’t Work" cementing his legacy, Ashcroft has also achieved five Top 5 solo albums, including his latest, the critically acclaimed Lovin’ You, set for release on October 10th.

The supporting acts bring their own significant pedigree. Shed Seven will deliver a set packed with classics such as "Chasing Rainbows" and "Going For Gold." Last year, the band achieved the rare milestone of scoring two UK No. 1 albums in a single year with Liquid Gold and A Matter of Time. Tom Meighan, known for his powerful baritone and high-energy stage presence, will showcase tracks from his widely praised 2023 solo debut, The Reckoning. Opening the show will be The Kairos, who have been garnering significant radio support and recently performed massive slots supporting bands like James and The Reytons.

Tickets for this major summer show go on pre-sale on Wednesday, October 1st, at 9:30 AM. Customers must pre-register at the provided link for exclusive access. General sale begins on Friday, October 3rd, at 9:30 AM.
