Legendary metal band Iron Maiden has announced the continuation of their massive two-year, 50th-anniversary “Run For Your Lives” world tour into 2026. The new dates will see them returning to Europe for a series of festival and stadium shows, promising a set list drawn from their early, career-defining decades. The band's iconic mascot Eddie will be featured in their most spectacular stage show to date.
According to bassist Steve Harris, the band is loving the tour so far, and the incredible fan response has inspired them to schedule more shows before heading to other parts of the world. "The fans have been amazing, the set list is perfect for the 50th Anniversary, the show is arguably our best ever," Harris said. He also confirmed that drummer Simon Dawson will be returning to the stage with them.
Manager Rod Smallwood added that the overwhelming reaction to the first leg of the tour motivated them to continue. He noted that the new dates are a "huge thank you" to the major metal festivals that have supported the band throughout their career. In addition to festival appearances, the band will perform stadium shows in places they missed in 2025, including Athens, Bucharest, and Milan's historic San Siro Stadium, where they will be the first-ever metal band to play.
Fans will also have a chance to witness a special filmed performance at the Paris La Défense Arena on June 22. In an effort to capture the best possible footage, the standing area for this show will be a "Yondr" phone-free zone, a policy the band is encouraging at all their shows to enhance the fan experience.
