Indie darlings The Lathums have added a second show at the Liverpool Olympia on Friday, November 28, after their initial date on November 29 sold out almost immediately. The announcement comes as the band continues a monumental 2025, with new music and a series of international tour dates taking them from Wigan to Tokyo.

The band recently released their infectious new single, "Cobblestones," from the Matter Does Not Define Deluxe EP, which is set to drop on Friday, August 22. The track, with its choppy Johnny Marr-esque jangle and dubby rhythm, arrives just in time for a busy festival season at home and abroad.

Frontman Alex Moore shared the inspiration behind the new song: "'Cobblestones' started when I was in my teens and started paying close attention to the world around me… The song is about what gets covered up, not just by concrete or tarmac, but by politics, ego, and time. It's about how we build over the past and try to move on, but the past is still there, just beneath the surface."

This year has seen The Lathums' career reach new heights, including their third Top 5 Official UK Album Chart release. Their upcoming schedule is packed with major milestones, including a performance at the Singapore F1 Grand Prix and their first-ever tour dates in Australia and Japan.

The Lathums have always championed the importance of high-quality arts experiences for young people, and their Chance To See Fund, in partnership with the charity Curious Minds, has already raised over £25,000 to improve access to cultural events.

Tickets for the new Liverpool show are on sale now, along with remaining tickets for their other confirmed live dates.
