Over four glorious days, forty thousand festival goers will gather once again in the hallowed fields of Lowther, as Kendal Calling transforms into Cumbria’s third largest town. The ultimate festival gathering, Kendal Calling is filled with otherworldly entertainment and escapism designed to intrigue, surprise and entertain all ages.

This year, Kendal Calling's theme is “celebrate good times” and where better to join the party than at the iconic Main Stage, which takes centre spotlight as the ultimate birthday bash for Kendal’s 20th year! The main stage has hosted enormous headliners over the years, including some of the biggest names in music globally, and this year is no different. Set in a stunning natural amphitheatre with sweeping views of the Lake District’s rolling hills, it’s the ultimate setting for massive singalongs and experiencing your favourite headliners. This year’s line-up is set to raise the bar once again, featuring sets from Kaiser Chiefs, Courteeners, Fatboy Slim, The Prodigy, The Last Dinner Party, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Wombats, Travis, The K’s, Fickle Friends, The Lottery Winners, Reverend & The Makers, Corella, Jason Manford and many more! It’s no secret that the upside down garden of Parklands is where the party lives, but this year, things are getting a little spooky, with a Halloween-inspired stage. From live music, comedy, banging DJ sets, family entertainment and more, Parklands is pulling out all the (trick-or) treats this year! This summer, Parklands is headlined by Daniel Bedingfieeld, Scouting for Girls and Maxïmo Park. Alongside are names such as Dub Pistols, Lindisfarne, One Night in Nashville, Pixie Lott and the Kendal favourite Bandaoke, who are guaranteed to get the crowds singing at the top of their lungs!

After dark, Parklands will transform into a haunted house of sound, where eerie beats and basslines come alive. Join DJs like Badger, DJ Yoda, Charlie Tee, Jaguar Skills and tons more to rave away through a night of Halloween thrills.

Calling Out is the home to the newest and most exciting emerging bands and artists. Plus names such as Keo, Deco and Freak Slug will be bringing their unique sounds to the forest. We will also be joined by Starsailor’s James Walsh. The fun doesn’t stop there - when the sun sets, get ready to grab your headphones and belt out your favourites as the legendary Woodlands Silent Disco makes its much-anticipated return!

This year includes stand-up performances from Britain’s Got Talent’s winner Lost Voice Guy and Phoenix Nights’ Justin Moorhouse as part of a knockout lineup featuring some of the UK’s top comedic talent!
