Returning to Parque Tejo across two weekends – June 20th-21st and 27th-28th, 2026 – the iconic festival looks to build on the massive success of its 2024 installment, which drew over 300,000 attendees. Tickets for the highly anticipated 2026 event went on sale yesterday, June 6th, at 8 AM via tickets.rockinriolisboa.pt (powered by Fever), feverup.com, Worten stores, and worten.pt.
Following their recent performance at the UEFA Champions League Final, Linkin Park's announcement of a 2026 world tour, including this stop at Rock in Rio Lisboa, marks a monumental return for both the band and their devoted fanbase. This will be the band's first performance in Portugal in 11 years, promising a highly emotional and historic night. Fans can expect to hear material from their new album, From Zero, which features new vocalist Emily Armstrong, alongside their globally recognized hits.
Beyond the music, Rock in Rio Lisboa is launching the 'Road to Rock in Rio' project, an expansive communication journey that will feature experiences and activations across various cities in Portugal and Europe. Central to this initiative is the 'ALL IN RIO' campaign, which for this edition will place a strong emphasis on people and their aspirations for a better world. The campaign will see the iconic signs from the festival's Main Stage travel to different locations, inviting the public to write messages of unity, peace, and hope. These messages will then be projected onto the Main Stage during the festival, showcasing the collective strength of those striving for a more positive future.
Roberta Medina, Executive Vice-President of Rock in Rio, highlighted the significance of Linkin Park's return, noting their deep emotional and historic connection with the festival. She emphasized Rock in Rio Lisboa's growing international prestige as a cultural, sustainable, and innovative hub, projecting Portugal's vibrant image onto the global stage.
