FORWARDS Festival has unveiled the final wave of artists for its 2025 edition, set to take place over the August bank holiday weekend (23–24 August) on Clifton Downs. The announcement cements the festival’s reputation for blending cutting-edge music with cultural relevance, adding a diverse mix of rising stars, genre-defying acts, and legendary names to its already stacked line-up.

Saturday’s main stage welcomes the soulful, genre-blending Nilüfer Yanya, known for her fusion of indie rock, jazz, and electronic textures, alongside Berlin-based singer-songwriter Anna Erhard. On Sunday, the spotlight turns to Pa Salieu, whose boundary-pushing sound has redefined UK rap, and experimental rock innovators Squid.

A major new addition for 2025 is The Arches, a brand-new dance tent debuting with a powerful roster. Saturday sees Jamz Supernova bring her forward-thinking club sounds, joined by Helena Star, Feel The Real, and SpicyIvy. Sunday’s line-up dives into jungle, grime, and trip-hop with LTJ Bukem, Shy One, DJ Rea, and a long-awaited return from Smith & Mighty Soundsystem, featuring special guests and new material.

Late-night programming continues at The INFORMATION Stage, offering intimate performances and championing Bristol’s next wave of talent. Saturday highlights include Ava Zarate and Laura Dia, both graduates of the Next Level artist development programme, alongside Mould, Alamay and Omar Cassius. Sunday features Waldo’s Gift, Dizraeli & Joy Machine, and Guy.

This final announcement joins an already impressive line-up featuring Jorja Smith, Doechii, Ezra Collective, Confidence Man, Orbital, Mount Kimbie, and many more.

With its mix of global names and local talent, FORWARDS continues to push boundaries in music curation and community engagement. Tickets are on sale now at forwardsbristol.co.uk.
