Toronto alt-rock duo CLEOPATRICK have announced their largest European headline tour to date, set to kick off this October and culminating in their biggest UK show yet at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on November 10th. Tickets go on general sale this Friday, April 25th at 10AM.
The announcement arrives hot on the heels of the release of the band’s critically acclaimed sophomore album, FAKE MOON, which dropped via their independent imprint, Nowhere Special Recordings. Described as a blend of lo-fi grit and expansive sonic experimentation, the album marks a creative leap forward for the duo. Tracks like the atmospheric HAMMER and the haunting closer LOVE YOU have received glowing praise from outlets such as Kerrang!, Metro, and DIY, all highlighting the band’s emotional depth and sonic evolution.
CLEOPATRICK—comprised of longtime friends Luke Gruntz and Ian Fraser—have steadily risen from cult favourites to one of the most in-demand new rock bands globally. Their debut album BUMMER catapulted them into the spotlight, earning accolades from The Guardian, The Independent, and MTV UK, and a JUNO nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year. They’ve racked up over 100 million streams, supported Royal Blood and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, and appeared at massive festivals like Lollapalooza and Reading & Leeds.
The upcoming tour will see the band hit key cities across Europe including Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Brussels, Prague, and Stockholm, before wrapping up in London. In anticipation of the tour, CLEOPATRICK have released a brand-new live video of “HAMMER”, captured at last month’s sold-out show at Electric Brixton — a taste of the raw energy fans can expect this autumn.
With FAKE MOON, CLEOPATRICK continue to test the limits of modern rock, channelling influences from Radiohead to Califone, while staying grounded in their signature stripped-down, thunderous sound.
