In a thrilling lineup for what promises to be a monumental night, NYC-born musician Blondshell, New York’s Been Stellar, and Cork-based Cardinals have been announced as the supporting acts for Fontaines D.C. at their biggest headline show to date. Taking place on Saturday, 5 July 2025, at Finsbury Park, London, this highly anticipated event has already sold out, with tickets flying off the shelves.

Blondshell, the musical project of LA-based singer-songwriter Sabrina Teitelbaum, brings a potent mix of raw emotion, introspection, and powerful vulnerability. Known for her fierce songwriting, Teitelbaum’s style draws from artists like Patti Smith, Joy Division, and Elliott Smith, blending influences of punk, folk, and indie rock. Blondshell will be showcasing songs from her upcoming album If You Asked For A Picture, set for release on 2 May 2025.

Joining Blondshell are Been Stellar, a five-piece from New York that channels the gritty energy of Sonic Youth and Interpol with a sound that’s both angular and atmospheric. Their music captures the spirit of disillusionment and yearning, drawing comparisons to the likes of Iceage and Radiohead's The Bends era.

The night also welcomes Cardinals, an Irish band whose self-titled debut EP fuses shoegaze, Irish folk, and punk with haunting gothic textures. Their unique, poetic sound offers an eclectic mix of old and new, and their live performance is one to watch.

Of course, the main event is Fontaines D.C., whose meteoric rise from humble beginnings in Ireland to selling out Finsbury Park marks a milestone in their ever-growing career. The band has earned multiple accolades, including two BRIT Awards, two GRAMMY nominations, and an NME Award for Best Band in the World.

Also joining the bill are Amyl and the Sniffers, the electrifying Australian punk band, and the explosive Kneecap, adding to the diverse and dynamic roster of artists at what will be a truly unforgettable night.

Tickets are sold out for this highly anticipated show, confirming Fontaines D.C.'s place among the most sought-after live acts today.
