International superstar Shakira announced today an extensive tour across Latin America, marking her highly anticipated return to her homeland and promising an experience that goes beyond music. Produced by Live Nation, the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour will visit Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and countries like Peru that were not part of the previous tour, as well as her hometown Barranquilla, for the first time in 19 years. In Colombia, she will also perform in Bogotá and Medellín.
The Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour is a tribute to Shakira’s popular music, with a look toward the future. Inspired by her album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, this tour promotes a message of empowerment and strength, which Shakira seeks to convey to multiple generations of fans — those who have never seen her live and those who have been waiting for her return for many years.
With a new production designed with the highest technology, her biggest hits, new songs, and several surprises, the tour aims to be an unforgettable experience, both visually and musically. In this return to the stages of Latin America, Shakira seeks to create a space where her fans can share and celebrate with her the power of personal rebirth like a diamond that is forged under pressure and emerges stronger and brighter after facing adversity.
Last week, Shakira released “Soltera,” an infectious afrobeats female anthem.
The song had already gained buzz online following the filming of the video at LIV in Miami with cameos from Winnie Harlow, Anitta, Danna and Lele Pons. The video will be released soon.
The new song comes on the heels of Shakira’s 3rd Latin GRAMMY nominations for Album of the Year for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, Song of the Year for “Entre Paréntesis,” and Best Latin Electronic Music Performance for “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 (Tiësto Remix).”
TICKETS: Tickets will be available starting with an artist presale beginning on Tuesday, October 8. Additional pre-sales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning on Friday, October 11 below.
