Audi presents Wilderness is thrilled to unveil a brand new dance music venue, The Riddle, a mysterious creation from festival insiders Will Kayll and Jemima Howden. The couple, deeply connected to the wonders of Wilderness, have designed a space that will captivate with its blend of mystery, music and inclusivity. Delivering more than just music, those who embark will go on a kaleidoscopic journey, with many layers and delights to be uncovered. Expect total immersion, surprise performances and a secret garden - if you can find your way in.
Artists confirmed include national DJ treasure Greg Wilson, accomplished Colombian DJ Julio Victoria who will be performing with a live drummer and bass player, young and fast-rising disco doyenne MiNNA, feel-good house and techno DJ and Berlin’s Arms & Legs Records head honcho Kristin Velvet, DJ, songwriter, and producer ABEL, Balearic house originator Trevor Fung, French multi-instrumentalist Bertrand Lacombe - aka Dombrance - and many more talented artists who are not typically to be found on festival bills. Expect secret sets from DJ legends too.
Will and Jemima’s ties to Wilderness run deep. Jemima resides on the festival grounds, while Will’s journey with Wilderness began at seventeen, performing on one of its stages. Their paths intertwined at the festival, leading to the conception of The Riddle - a project born from their shared love for Wilderness and their desire to add a fresh, immersive experience to its already rich tapestry.
The Riddle: A Secret Garden of Wonder

The Riddle is designed to be a secret and ever-changing space. A speakeasy vibe leads party-goers into a secret walled garden with a dancefloor at its centre - but will only be revealed to those who solve The Riddle. Those lucky enough will discover a classic English Country Garden with many twists, performers, decadent spaces, a bar and a club sound system. An ever-changing project, future iterations of The Riddle promise entirely new experiences. The venue aims to foster genuine connections, encouraging visitors to unplug from their devices and engage face-to-face. Stickers will be handed out to promote a ‘no phones’ policy, making The Riddle a sanctuary of undistracted enjoyment where dancers can truly live in the moment.
An Inclusive, Multi-Generational Space
Will and Jemima’s vision for The Riddle is rooted in inclusivity. They want to create a space where people of all generations can come together, enjoy eclectic performances, and immerse themselves in the festival's spirit of freedom and escapism. They are inspired by their own bohemian parents, who frequently held parties that were a wide mix of people: all generations coming together to have fun. The pair have been to a lot of festivals, attracted by the madness and escapism which invite abandon and mindfulness in equal measure.

As much of an immersive experience as it is about the programming, the artists will feature a blend of young, emerging talents and renowned seasoned performers. The Riddle’s line-up will showcase DJs and performers who deliver more than just music - their performances engage and enthrall with unexpected elements. The programming is curated with input from a close-knit circle of friends, ensuring a mix of experiences that reflect Will and Jemima’s diverse tastes and the festival's eclectic spirit.
