The Cambridge Club Festival (7th-9th June) has just announced yet more exciting content to add to its three-day weekend programme – with several exclusive activations and experiences supplementing the food & drink, music and culture on offer this summer.
Alongside a lineup featuring the likes of Chaka Khan and Jessie Ware, a glittering array of partners will help to make the 2024 event even more memorable – bringing flavours and films from the USA, luxury picnic hampers, and a new stage of up-and-coming musicians.
Taking over the Hospitality area with a smorgasbord of styles and flavours from across America, Visit The USA will be celebrating the boundless diversity, culture and vibrancy of the world’s third-largest country. Expect delicious food and drink, plus themed decor top-to-bottom, incorporating a selection of inspirations and destinations from the States.
In the festival’s Orchard area, a new on-site cinema will present classic American films. Showcasing stunning geography and iconic places from across the country, plus a whole host of all-time great scenes, the pictures will be curated by Visit The USA – inviting attendees to the movies for the perfect chilled-out respite from dancing in the sunshine.
With music being a crucial element of the festival – and the States so influential in the Disco, Funk, Soul and R&B sounds at The Cambridge Club – Visit The USA will be introducing some emerging American artists to the lineup too, joining other U.S. legends including Chaka Khan, Earth, Wind & Fire Experience (both Chicago) and Sister Sledge (Philadelphia).
In another UK music festival exclusive, The Cambridge Club will be joining the likes of Royal Ascot in playing host to the perfect picnic provider: Fortnum & Mason. Crafted with the very best seasonal ingredients and packed with summer-ready tipples, F&M picnic hampers can now be ordered at the event for the first time – serving up the ideal al fresco festival feast.
To add more musical magic to the bill, this year’s Live & Local stage – in partnership with Greene King – will showcase performances from some of the East of England’s top talent.
