Ella Henderson releases new single 'Alibi' ft. Rudimental
12 January 2024
Ella Henderson is kicking off 2024 with ‘Alibi’, a high-octane new dance track featuring Rudimental.
An anthem for avenging exes, ‘Alibi’ - which samples Coolio’s iconic hit ‘Gangsta’s Paradise (feat. L.V.) - was written by Ella alongside RuthAnne (Britney Spears, JoJo), Maegan Cottone (Kylie Minogue, Little Mix) and Olivia Sebastianelli. The single arrives as Ella’s second collaboration with Rudimental, who signed her to their label Major Toms in 2018 and subsequently teamed up for ‘Handle My Own’ on their star-studded UK No. 1 Dance Album ‘Ground Control’.
With its infectious chorus and Ella’s powerhouse vocal performance, ‘Alibi’ serves as a reminder as to why Ella has become one of the UK’s most in-demand singer-songwriters, having worked with world-renowned producers and DJs including David Guetta, Regard, Kygo, Paul Woolford, Frank Walker and more.
Ella rounded off 2023 as a recipient of a landmark BRITs Billion Award, the latest accolade in a decade-long career which includes multi-platinum certifications, BRIT and Ivor Novello nominations, 9x UK Top 10 singles and 2x UK Top 10 albums (the latest of which - ‘Everything I Didn’t Say’ - spent 38 weeks on the UK Official Albums Chart and is now Gold).
