As FAC51 The Hacienda rounds off 2023 with another fully sold-out Depot Mayfield event in December, looking towards 2024 and in our first event announced for next year, Hacienda Classical continues its annual mid-Summer party at Castlefield Bowl with another appearance on Saturday 13th July 2024.
Marking its eighth Castlefield show at “Sounds Of The City” in the nine years since 2016, the homecoming is one of the city’s events of the year as The Hacienda’s crowd, DJ Graeme Park, Manchester Camerata and some very special guests come together for what is now becoming a regular date each year, even memorably in the Manchester rain of this year.
Hacienda Classical sees Tim Crooks lead the collective of artists and musicians on stage including Melanie Williams, Rae Hall, Yvonne Shelton and AMC Choir to perform well known favourites and new versions of club classics all mixed continuously into one non-stop set.
All our Castlefield events have previously fully sold out well in advance and tickets go on sale Friday 15th September 2023 at 9AM below.
About returning to Castlefield for the seventh time, Peter Hook commented: “I can’t believe it. Our eighth year! The only artists ever to achieve it. I would like to thank the people that love The Hacienda and all it stands for, SJM for believing in us and Tony Wilson and Rob Gretton for starting us down this crazy road.
