Argentine singer-songwriter and performance extraordinaire, Nathy Peluso, is releasing an intricate new Bachata single, “ELLA TIENE”, this Friday 15 September alongside fellow Argentine musician Tiago PZK.
The stirring video features Nathy Peluso portraying a heartbroken girl, relishing in her individuality whilst grieving her failed relationship. Her hypnotic dance moves combined with the industrial, gritty environment of an abandoned building combine to create a visual spectacle like no other. Lyrics such as “Pero el que se equivoca se arrepiente / Te será difícil olvidarla si la miras a los ojos (Mistakes lead to regret / Forgetting her will be tough if you meet her gaze)” embody Nathy’s character here: wholly unique and impossible to forget.
“ELLA TIENE” follows the release of the provocative “SALVAJE,” described by Peluso as “music for your culo [ass]” that has racked in over 12 million streams. Earlier this year, Peluso also released the powerful, self-love anthem “Tonta” – her recent releases have continued to emphasise Nathy’s effortlessly cool confidence as well as her extensive genre-bending abilities.
Nathy Peluso has accumulated nearly 1 billion streams across the globe. At the end of 2022, she headlined her first-ever arena tour with sold out shows across Argentina, Chile and Spain (see the VOGUE U.S. exclusive behind the scenes report from the Madrid show). Back in 2022, Peluso performed at Coachella, and was included in festival highlight lists in tastemaker press such as Rolling Stone and Billboard to name a few, while fellow musicians Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and J Balvin count themselves as Peluso fans.
