BC Camplight releases his anticipated new album The Last Rotation Of Earth on 12th May via Bella Union. With the LP’s title track currently on the A-list at 6 Music, and having recently shared a second track “She's Gone Cold” from the album, today BC Camplight shares his new single, “Kicking Up A Fuss”, from the LP.

Commenting on the tack BC Camplight says: “I wrote this song whilst living in a dirt cheap Liverpool hotel. My nine year relationship had just ended and I was without a home. I remember looking around the room in almost comical disbelief that all of my choices and actions had led me to this moment. It was then this song came to me, a story about a man in his worst moment trying to decide if he has it in him to fight back one more time; to not accept his fate. The hotel felt haunted by years of knowing people like me and looked as if it hadn't been redecorated since 1986. So I made a song that sounded like this hotel.”

BC Camplight last week announced a solo piano tour for late May and early June, visiting towns that he isn’t playing on his full band tour which takes place later this year. Anyone who has seen BC Camplight’s celebrated live performances will know his shows are as much about his hilarious stand-up comedy routine as they are his virtuoso piano playing and scintillating songs, so these dates are not to be missed.
