Take A Piece Of Me With You by Paul Young is a published new memoir to coincide with the major Behind The Lens tour for 2023 in which he will visit 96 UK venues. All shows listed below.

Paul Young has been at the top of his game for four decades. Since hitting the big time with his triple platinum album, No Parlez, which spawned huge hits, like Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home), Come Back And Stay, and Love Of The Common People, he has performed all over the world.

In Take A Piece Of Me With, for the first time, Paul tells his incredible story - from teaching himself to play the guitar, to breaking away from his bandmates and becoming a solo performer.

This musical memoir reveals what it was like to live in the constant glare of the spotlight, and how he came to deliver the iconic opening line of the Band Aid classic (Do They Know) It's Christmas?

The pranks, the parties, the backstage banter; the collaborations, the challenges, and the importance of keeping a level head - all play out in Take A Piece Of Me With You.

This is an intimate, illuminating, and very personal story of a self-taught musician who never lost sight of how lucky he is to do the job he loves.

Coinciding with the book’s publication, he’s touring the UK, too. On his huge 96 date tour he’ll meet fans, sing hits and tell stories about his incredible career. It’s time to revel in the classic hits and learn the stories behind them as Paul steps out from Behind The Lens.

Paul said: “I’m looking forward to touring this year as the fans go Behind The Lens.”
