The Levellers are to release their new album Together All The Way on March 10th and head off on a full UK tour at the end of this month.
The album is being released via their own On The Fiddle Recordings. An acoustic album, taking a more traditional, folk approach to reimagine songs from their past and also features two brand new tracks 'Man O' War' and 'Sitting In The Social'. The album has been produced with Sean Lakeman and mixed by Al Scott.
Together All The Way finds Levellers joined by Hannah Miller and Ollie Austin from the Moulettes on cello, vocals and percussion. They’re also joined by Dan Donnelly marking his first official Levellers recording. Everything was recorded live, with the musicians playing through the songs until they had versions they were happy with.
The forthcoming Together All The Way tour will be bringing the new arrangements of the songs to audiences in all their live glory. It kicks off at Cheltenham Town Hall on February 27th and will include 18-dates across the country finishing on March 18th at the Buxton Opera House.
2023 is a landmark year for Levellers. They are celebrating 35 years of being a band and also the 20th Anniversary of their hugely acclaimed Beautiful Days Festival (August 18th - 20th), which they will headline as well as Suede and Primal Scream.
