After sharing their tender and delicate duet with Julien Baker last month, Wild Pink are back once more to share the latest track from their highly anticipated fourth album, ILYSM. On "See You Better Now", Wild Pink recruit Dinosaur Jr's J Mascis for a driving, fuzzed-out love song.

Praised by The New York Times for their "open-air, stargazing indie rock" following 2021's lauded A Billion Little Lights, ILYSM was co-produced by the groups leader John Ross, with Justin Pizzoferrato (Pixies, Body/Head, Speedy Ortiz) and Peter Silberman of The Antlers. It has so far seen praise from outlets like The New York Times, Pitchfork, The FADER, Stereogum and many more, and includes a star-studded cast of guest musicians including the aforementioned Julien Baker and J Mascis, as well as Ryley Walker, Yasmin Williams and Samantha Crain. ILYSM sees Wild Pink at their most bracingly personal, as the album's thematic focus is an examination of Ross' recent struggle with cancer.

On the track, "“See You Better Now” is the most straightforward love song on the album and definitely inspired by Tom Petty and Traveling Wilburys. It was one of the last songs I wrote for this album and a really fun song to record in the studio. It's still wild to me that J Mascis did the guitar solo on it. "
