The first phase of acts have been confirmed for next summer’s nostalgic extravaganza as the festival promises to be the largest event of its kind in the UK, if not Europe!

The most outrageous trip down memory lane, BACK 2 FESTIVAL, is returning for summer 2023, with a line-up boasting artists from the ‘80s, ‘90s and ‘00s, including headliners Blue - and old school anthem dancefloor-fillers Cascada and Basshunter.

With nine UK Number 1’s between them, this first line-up of announced artists are set to pull in big crowds of nostalgia-hunting festival-goers when BACK 2 FESTIVAL returns to Catton Park in Derbyshire for its seventh year, between Thursday 30th June – Sunday 3rd July. Tickets for the festival are now on sale at: www.back2festivals.co.uk/tickets

Nostalgic heavyweights Blue will be topping the bill, following their huge 14-date 20th anniversary tour. With countless awards under their belts, including the TMF Award for Best Breakthrough Artist/Newcomer, and the Brit Award for British Breakthrough Act, Blue have dominated the charts, and swooning teenage hearts, since the early noughties.

All Swedish singer, record producer, songwriter and DJ, Basshunter, wants is to see you (Derby) smiling as he’s back to Catton Park for 2023. After recording five studio albums: The Bassmachine, LOL, Now You're Gone – The Album, Bass Generation, and Calling Time, Basshunter has had a busy year with his 2022 Spring tour drawing to a close in Edinburgh, back in April - and is ready to take Derby by storm next year.

German dance trio, Cascada, is ready to do the opposite of Evacuate The Dancefloor as singer Natalie Horler and DJs/producers DJ Manian and DJ Yanou arrive in Derby for the seventh edition of BACK 2 FESTIVAL. Best known for their hit singles "Everytime We Touch", "What Hurts the Most", "Evacuate the Dancefloor", and "Miracle", this one is going to be big!

With many more top of the pops artists set to be announced (get excited!), this first phase line-up also includes noughties heavyweights 911 and A1, Welsh comedy hip hop group Goldie Looking Chain and electronic dance music duo Phatts & Smalls!

With a total of four stages, two are brand new for the 2023 edition. Firstly: The Secret Rave Arena (be sure to try and find the secret entrance from the main arena…we can’t say much more than that!) The second new-for-2023 stage is led by theme rather than music: Thursday is The 100% Eighties Party, Friday hosts Pop Confessions, on Saturday it’s The Sh*t Wedding Disco and to see off the festival in style Sunday is Back 2 the Future (Future Classics).

Beyond the music, there is plenty of entertainment for everyone to enjoy - from the Retro Gaming tent by Kapow bringing you the best arcade and video games from the 80's, 90's and the 00's, to Al Snow Wrestling, who will be performing 80s and 90s wrestling shows across the weekend in the main arena.

Catton Park, located next to local gem Catton Hall, is in the heart of the National Forest and equidistant from London, Manchester and Norwich, making it the ideal location for festival goers from across the UK.

Tickets are available to buy now from www.back2festivals.co.uk/tickets. Day tickets are on sale from just £29.99. For a short time only, you can now book a four-night weekend camping ticket for just £89.99 and a three-night ticket for £79.99.
