Last night, multi-platinum selling indie pop trio AJR launched their OK ORCHESTRA Tour at Dallas’ Toyota Music Factory. The highly anticipated first night of the tour brought AJR back to a sold-out amphitheater where they delivered an epic 90-minute high energy performance featuring incredible production and a stream of chart-topping hits like “Sober Up,” “Burn the House down,” and “BANG!.” Both “Way Less Sad” and “BANG!” are featured on the group’s acclaimed new album, OK ORCHESTRA, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative and Rock albums charts.
This tour, which has sold over 250,000 tickets thus far, also features a multitude of sustainability initiatives including a partnership with Live Nation on #TheShowGoesOn, a campaign to raise awareness and deliver actionable solutions to the climate crisis through the 2022 AJR OK Orchestra Tour. Live Nation is also selling a custom AJR branded mocktail (“Raspberry Bang!”) served with organic ingredients in a reusable cup at every AJR show with $1 per sale donated to Planet Reimagined, a global campaign turning thought into action to fight the climate crisis, inequality, and injustice.
