Absolute Radio has today announced that alongside KP Nuts it is helping to save the festive season by creating the UK’s first virtual office Christmas party. Bastille and Blossoms will be the headline performers in the day-long event which is happening on-air on Friday 4th December.
Bastille will be performing live tracks and chatting to Dave Berry on the Absolute Radio Breakfast show while Blossoms will be joining Andy Bush and Richie Firth for Hometime. Listeners can expect an exclusive performance from the two house-bands, performing a selection of their top hits and Christmas favourites. To bring the epic Office Christmas party to a close, the station is working with KISS FM stable mates the Dixon Brothers who will be doing a very special Absolute 80s mix from 7pm.
As well as choosing the party tracks through the day, listeners will be able to win incredible prizes every hour in the best Secret Santa ever, thanks to KP Nuts. Forget the £5 limit, this is all about weekend breaks, home entertainment systems, new bikes for the family alongside great tasting snacks.
The sponsorship of the Virtual Office Christmas Party is part of KP Nuts’ wider “Nuts About Christmas” campaign, which includes on-air radio promotions and competitions across Absolute Radio and other Bauer Media brands, including Magic Radio, Grazia, Closer and heat, celebrating everything audiences are ‘nuts about’ this festive period.
Absolute Radio Breakfast host Dave Berry said “It’s been a pretty rough year and with people across the UK working from home, there won’t be the traditional office party this year, so we’re creating a special virtual one. Thanks to Bastille, Blossoms and the Dixon Brothers for joining us in trying to bring some festive cheer to the UK..”
The Absolute Radio and KP Nuts Office Christmas Party is happening 6am-8pm on Friday 4th December. Listen on radio, online, via the Absolute Radio app and smart speaker.
