Global pop icon P!NK opened up the European/UK leg of her Beautiful Trauma World Tour tonight in Amsterdam to over 50,000 people. The show featured many of her greatest hits as well as songs from her latest chart-topping album Hurts 2B Human including “Walk Me Home,” “Hustle” and the new European single “Can We Pretend.” The current leg of the tour will play a total of 27 stadiums across Europe and the UK and has sold over 1.2 million tickets. The last time the superstar toured in Europe was for The Truth About Love Tour in 2013.
The Beautiful Trauma World Tour has already sold over 3 million tickets worldwide, was the highest grossing tour in the US during the month of March and continued to break records in Australia and New Zealand with 42 sold-out shows. Once completed, the tour will have played a total of 156 shows across 18 countries.
Most recently, P!NK released her 8th studio album Hurts 2B Human. The album debuted at #1 in 9 countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Switzerland, Ireland, Belgium, New Zealand, Canada and The Netherlands and debuted in the Top 10 in Germany, France, Norway, Austria and Finland. The album continued its #1 reign in the United Kingdom for 3 consecutive weeks following the album’s release. The first single, “Walk Me Home” marks P!NK’s 10th #1 on Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs chart and extends her record for the most at this format across all solo acts. Additionally, the track brings P!NK her 4th #1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs Chart.
Since her debut in 2000, P!NK has released 8 studio albums, 1 greatest hits album, sold over 60 million album equivalents worldwide and has had 15 singles in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (four at #1) and has sold out arenas all over the world. In addition, she is the recipient of three Grammy Awards (twenty nominations), one Daytime Emmy Award, seven MTV Video Music Awards (including the 2017 Vanguard Award recipient), two MTV Europe Awards, two People’s Choice Awards, was named Billboard’s Woman of the Year in 2013 and most recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as well as The Brits Outstanding Contribution To Music Award (the first international artist to receive this honor).
