Norwegian pop sensation Sigrid, has been selected as Vevo’s latest LIFT artist.

Over the coming weeks, Sigrid’s VEVO LIFT series will see the release of an assortment of live performances all taken from her forthcoming highly anticipated debut album ‘Sucker Punch’.
Cementing herself as national breakthrough in Norway from the young age of 17, Sigrid went on to sign a major label record deal with Island Records in 2016 and achieve chart success with her debit single ‘Don’t Kill My Vibe’ globally.
Since then Sigrid has performed at the likes of Reading & Leeds, Isle of Wight and Glastonbury festivals, with The Guardian predicting her to be a Glastonbury headliner one day.
The critically acclaimed star, tipped by Vevo Artist’s To Watch, NME 100 and winner of the BBC Sound Of 2018 poll, will release her debut album ‘Suckerpunch’ on March 8 before joining Maroon 5 on tour in Europe and George Ezra on tour in the UK later this year.
Launched back in 2011, Vevo’s artist development programme LIFT throws the spotlight on the freshest new talent in Britain. Vevo LIFT alumni include the likes of Jorja Smith, Years & Years and Rag‘N’Bone Man who all gave their fans a sneak peek into their early careers via a series of Vevo videos.
