Platinum-certified independent singer, songwriter, producer, and pop visionary Lauv unveils new single ‘i’m so tired…’ with Troye Sivan.
Troye Sivan said on the song, “‘i’m so tired…’ is a heartbreak song about an inescapable person. Lauv is such a great songwriter, and him and I were writing together for his project when the song came about. We ended up creating an accidental duet, and I couldn’t be happier to be on the song.”
Lauv added, “I’ve been a huge fan of Troye’s music and what he does for the world for years, so working with him was an absolute honor. When we wrote ‘i’m so tired…’ he just sounded too good singing it, so I think it was just natural to do the record together. This song is also the last song I’m going to be putting out until I have my debut album ready, so I figured we’d go out on a heartbroken banger vibe so it’s sad but fun.”
In celebration of their upcoming track, Lauv and Troye renamed ‘Lauv Loves’ ‘Lauv x Troye Sivan: i’m so tired…’ a collaborative playlist featuring songs Lauv and Troye listen to when falling asleep. The playlist is currently the #13th most followed artist curated playlist on Spotify with over 92,000 followers.
The release of ‘i’m so tired…’ comes on the heels of Lauv’s single ‘There’s No Way’ featuring GRAMMY nominated artist Julia Michaels. Previous single ‘I Like Me Better’ reached the Top 10 of US Pop radio and has been certified Platinum in 12 countries. He has now surpassed over 1.5 billion cumulative streams worldwide.
