The Malta Eurovision Song Contest rehearsals are in full swing at MFCC in Ta’ Qali. The rehearsals are running smoothly and almost precisely on time. Lights, sound and graphics are all in place and no particular issues were reported.
This year the festival has been elevated to a higher level both in terms of camera works and sound effects as well as the presentation of the stage. The main objective of this year is to be able to enhance the visual and audio experience both in the hall and at home by using high-resolution equipment. This is the first time that the show will be transmitted in full high definition quality on TVM HD. Simultaneously the show can be followed and on Radju Malta 1 and via web streaming at :
www.tvm.com.mt/liveTonight the rehearsals continued with Gaia Cauchi, Junior Eurovision 2013 winner and the three hosts of the show, Ira Losco, Gianluca Bezzina and Moira Delia.
A full run through followed by a rehearsal by Gianluca, Red Electric, The Crowns and the comic duo Gorg u Pawlu is planned for tomorrow morning. A full dress rehearsal will take place in the evening.
Another full run through including the Ukrainian Maria Yaremchuk and the Eurovision queen Emmelie de Forest is planned for Friday morning in preparation for the semi-final which will take place in the evening at 20:30 CET.
The final run through will include Winter Moods, the Swiss Sebalter and Emmelie De Forest will take place on Saturday morning.
