What message does your song give?
I'm hoping it passes on a nice and easy vibe to all the souls who will be watching, the purpose of it is to attract some people away from their worries and stress for a little while and then after the show is over and we are out there living reality, i hope we will never forget about the beauty of nature and all the benefits she shares.
Are you a big Eurovision fan?
Not really no, never really was but funnily enough then i'm playing a good part in it
this year ... i never said never either but i never really pictured myself doing the actual contest either but hey it's happening now :)
Why/Why Not?:
first reason because i don't like competitions and the tension they could cause
second reason because most of the time when the festival was happening, i happened to be doing something else :)
Your favourite Maltese Eurovision Song of all time?:
More Than Love - Moira & Chris
Your favourite European Eurovision Song of all time?:
what came to mind first ... 'Fairytale' of Alexander Rybak, winning song for 2010
Who inspires you as an Artist?:
George Harrison
Would you share highlights from your music career during the last 12 months? :
With the help of many good friends and colleagues, such as Peter Paul Galea,
Wayne Camilleri, Peter Borg, Chris Curmi, Tumer Gencturk, I released a first song with the name 'Just Like You'. During this period also i had an opportunity to experience filming of a music video as a project for a group of Mcast students and also experimented a bit with photos alongside Tumer. For the rest of the time, i enjoyed simple listening or jammings at home and writing simple songs from everyday life events.
What are your goals in music ?
Open doors for that, when the opportunity comes along that way, we'll contemplate then ...
i fantasies about a girl band at times too though and i love live street music, i want to learn to play guitar better and there is another instrument which i wish to find more time & space to play with and maybe also record some more songs, i got quite some rough takes i could work on and share :)
How much time per day do you spend on your music career? :
i don't keep exact time of that but i think half of my day i spend it doing things related to music, different exercises of self expressions including streching, dancing, singing, breathing, listening to music, reading something about it sometime, hit some strings or buzzz it out ... still i say to myself 'i can always try a little harder' but then i feel good taking my time to do things when it's still an option.
If you had to choose another Artist to duet with, who would that be and why?
Robert Plant, his attitude and energy on stage is something that would suck me whole for a while
Tell us why you should be Malta’s representative in Denmark ?
That is not up to me to decide :) and this question feels uncomfortable :)
It was already a big surprise to have the song placing this stage and
I feel satisfied enough already and really happy with getting the opportunity to share the song with so many people. As for what is to happen, i'd rather not think about for now :)
