Following a series of successful music productions such as two editions of Musicals Live Show (2011) and (2012), Spiteri Lucas Entertainment is back in town with yet another spectacular music production not to be missed by one and all.
“MOVIES IN CONCERT”, the latest addition to Spiteri Lucas Entertainment’s already impressive portfolio of spectacular productions to date, will be staged on Saturday 24th November at 19.30hrs and Sunday 25th November 2012 at 18.30hrs at the Catholic Insitute Theatre, Floriana.
MOVIES IN CONCERT promises to be an entertaining show for all the family featuring a varied repertoire of popular and evergreen songs and soundtracks chosen from some of the most popular and memorable movies ever produced. An experienced and talented cast made up of some of Malta’s best performers at the moment, will take the audience on a journey, with a repertoire from unforgettable movies such as “Chariots of Fire”, “Pirates of the Carribean”, “The Mission”, “Highlander”, “Fame”, “Moulin Rouge” “Footloose”, “James Bond Series”, “Life is Beautiful”, “Calamity Jane”, “The Bodyguard”, “Blues Brothers”, “Sister Act”, “Mamma Mia”, “Shrek”, “Armageddon”, and “Rocky”, just to mention a few.
For this musical show, Spiteri Lucas Entertainment has assembled a highly talented cast with some of Malta’s top performers with the likes of Pamela Bezzina, Eleanor Spiteri, Ludwig Galea, Ivan Spiteri Lucas, Nadine Axisa, Debbie Scerri, and Neville Refalo who is also responsible for a 40 strong children’s choir that will also perform in this show. The backing vocals team will include promising singer Amanda Friggieri, Marie Claire Attard Bason, Simone Gauci, Abigal Galea, Cherise Attard and Claudio Castelletti.
All artists will be accompanied by a live seven piece band under the direction of musical director Mark Spiteri Lucas who is also responsible for all musical arrangements to be performed throughout the show, while Celaine Buhagiar and her Dancel Dancers are responsible for Choreography.
