At just 18 years old the Anglo/Maltese singer songwriter has already been a Maltese representative at Eurovision level, a resident TV singer and choreographer, and has gained a solid reputation for her live prowess.

Now Malta is sending its very own Pop Princess to represent the former British Colony during The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations at 3 music events in The United Kingdom.

On Saturday 2nd June Sophie will be performing at ‘Picnic on The Park’ in King’s Lynn, on the 3rd she joins a star studded lineup at Whitehaven Harbour which includes Katherine Jenkins, The Enemy and The Charlatans amongst others, while on Monday 4th Sophie, who will be supported by professional dancers from The YADA Dance Company, will be appearing at Reading Carnival alongside BBC Radio 1xtra sensation ‘Seani B’ and many others, to join in the city celebrations.

These appearances are part of Sophie’s UK Promotional Tour which will see her perform right across the Country this summer.

When Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth first visited Malta in 1949 she brought with her the warmth and charisma that British people are renowned for, and the Anglo/Maltese friendship is still strong, 63 years on. In 2012 it’s Sophie’s turn to return this love to the British people with her visit and you have the opportunity to come on down to one of these events, share Sophie’s Maltese love and warmth and be sure that you will want to take her into your heart.

Sophie’s new single ‘Sunny’ will be released on the’Thru The Mill Label’ by Absolute / Universal Music later on this summer followed by her first album in late 2012.
