Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift e Ella Mai sono state le grandi protagoniste degli iHeartRadio Music Awards 2019, tenutisi a Los Angeles nella notte di ieri, giovedì 14 marzo.
Ella si è aggiudicata tre premi, ottenendo un en-plein nella categoria dedicata all’R&B, mentre Ariana ha conquistato il titolo di Artista Femminile dell’Anno e Migliore Album Pop.
Doppia statuetta per Taylor, che ha conquistato i premi di Miglior Tour e Video dell’anno.
A esibirsi nella notte del Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles sono stati Ariana Grande in Needy, mentre Marshmello, Lauv, Lovelytheband e Ella Mai hanno presentato un medley dei loro successi.
Alicia Keys ha conquistato l’Innovator Award e ha emozionato il pubblico presente, esibendosi al pianoforte con il suo bambino, Egypt, 8 anni, con cui ha intonato Raise A Man.
'Questo è l’uomo che ho cresciuto', ha detto la star, mentre il piccolo la raggiungeva sul palco.
Alicia si è poi esibita nel successo del 2003 You Don’t Know My Name, per poi tornare al piano nel medley già presentato in occasione dei Grammy Awards.
