Gabrielle is all about the emotive lyrics which are sung masterfully from lead vocalist Owen Lloyd. The video certainly displays the story that Longfellow are trying to get across. It is evident from the catchy chorus that sadness and pain are the themes of this track, but the combination of a well timed drum beat and gentle riffs make Gabrielle a song worth listening to, whatever the occasion.

Gabrielle, despite its genre, can certainly be seen being played in a big arena, in front of thousands of people. Longfellow themselves are certainly not shy of a big audience, with a brief performance at the London 2012 Olympics and support for bands such as Feeder, Longfellow have the experience and are now starting to get recognition that they truly deserve.
