Debut single ‘Without You’ is released tomorrow by Brighton-based band The New Union.

If you like upbeat and cute guitar riffs and you own a Maccabees album, then it’s definitely worth you having a gander at this track. This single would be perfect for a sunny afternoon drive in the countryside or sitting on a beach with your headphones in. Warm and fluffy, you can imagine teenagers sneaking a first kiss to this track. The B-side ‘Home’ is more of an anthem track with haunting vocals reminiscent of early Coldplay and a bit more grownup than ‘Without You’.

For a young band – they’ve only been together a year - this first track shows promise. It’s slick and glossy but maybe in need of a little more personality but I am sure there is a lot more to come.
